The brand-new 5 Series／i5／X2 leads BMW to announce the new car lineup of Guangzhou Auto Show.

　　BMW officially announced the new car lineup of the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show. At the Guangzhou Auto Show, the brand-new BMW 5 Series long wheelbase version and pure electric BMW i5 will make their debut. According to the plan, the brand-new domestic 5 Series long wheelbase version (G68) and i5 will be put into production in January next year. At the same time, the new BMW X2 and the new BMW X2 M35i(M performance version) will also be unveiled at the auto show. It is reported that the new BMW X2 will be officially listed in the global market in March 2024.

　　New BMW 5 Series

　　The domestic BMW 5 basically continues the design of overseas models. Compared with the current BMW 5 Series, the front face is more tough and looks dynamic and powerful. The new car will be equipped with a ring-shaped grille and boomerang daytime running lights as the latest design of BMW brand, but the giant "big nostrils" design of BMW 7 series is not used, and the overall shape is relatively restrained. Semi-hidden door handle flush with the door, flat roof antenna make the side of BMW 5 Series look smoother, and the iconic "Hough Corner" of the rear door is integrated with the C-pillar. The new car is simplified for the angel eye headlights, making it more in line with the minimalist aesthetic trend of the current era.

The new car will adopt a highly recognizable taillight design and incorporate L-shaped chrome decoration, highlighting the luxury attributes of the vehicle. The new car also designed a "5" bright logo at the corner of Hoxhorn, which can produce a blue breathing effect when the vehicle is charged, which is an exclusive customized design element for domestic users.
