College students raise pigs in the dormitory in informed criticism. Can they keep pets on campus?

Recently, a classmate of Guangdong Vocational College of Industry and Commerce bought a mini pig from the Internet and fed it in the dormitory. However, unlike the merchant’s claim that "Little Xiang Pig won’t grow up", this pig kept growing up and was finally discovered by the college on November 5. This student was taken home by his parents in informed criticism, the whole hospital.

Netizen: It really is a pig teammate, hahahaha.
@ There are handsome guys to see:Ha, ha, ha, go home and raise for two months, and prepare for the New Year.@ Cat Fat: Ha, ha, ha, ha. There really are no piglets.@ 京京京京京: Sure enough, it’s a pig teammate, hahahahaha.
In fact, it is not uncommon for college students to keep pets in their dormitories. There are all kinds of strange pets: snakes, spiders, lizards, hedgehogs, which are nothing. Angkor mink, ants, flying squirrels, pigs … these are not uncommon.
The university dormitory seems to have become a "mysterious farm", and no one knows what will pop out of it after opening the dormitory door.
In the situation that many universities have expressly forbidden keeping pets, why do people still flock to hide these little lives on campus?

Why do you want a pet?
For the question "Why do students keep pets?", some people have made an investigation, and the answers are mostly like this:
-the stray dog in the university is really pitiful.
I like pets very much.
-I feel very fresh.
College life is so boring.
-the family has not been allowed to raise.
-I bought it on impulse in the store.
Among them, the most frequent occurrence is "like".
Most students who keep pets in dormitories have promised never to abandon them at the beginning, but what is the truth? More than half of dormitory pets end up lost, abandoned or dead, and less than 10% can be properly settled in the end.
In defending themselves, they all tried their best to express that they didn’t do it intentionally, but they could do nothing.
My home is far away, so I can’t take it with me.
-My parents won’t let me raise them, and my friends won’t want them.
I didn’t expect to spend so much money at first.
-I didn’t expect it to get sick.
It’s too stupid to learn to go to the toilet.
"Lovers" often don’t realize the harm in the name of love, and often because of this, they are even more eager to chase other pets.
They sometimes complain why other people’s pets are so cute and smart, while their own pets are nothing but trouble.

I’m happy. Where are the others?
Many pet dormitories have at least one or more members who are forced to accept them.
Pigeons in the forest:I have been afraid of cold-blooded animals since I was a child. As a result, my roommate bought a snake without asking my advice. What’s even more frightening is that this snake later ran away from the box in the dormitory! To tell you the truth, I haven’t slept well for weeks, and I worry about it suddenly appearing in bed every night.@ 中中中中:There are four people in our university. At first, my roommate A and I didn’t want to raise them, but there was no clear objection. In the end, it was all me and A who did the shoveling and feeding!
@ Little Drosophila:Keeping cats in universities is particularly tiring. It is necessary to guard against lodging aunts and prepare some money to prevent cats from getting sick accidentally. Cat food and cat litter are also a big expense. Besides, you have to play with them after class.
The above mentioned is lucky. If you meet a grumpy master, you may not be so lucky.
Not long ago, a boy from a university in Dalian cruelly threw his pet dog from the dormitory on the seventh floor and died because the puppy was defecating on the bed, and even broadcast it live in the chat group. This move caused the students to denounce, and the students involved were dropped out of school.

Keep a pet.
It means that your parents have provided an extra child for college.
I asked a friend who keeps pets around me, and he said that it would cost at least 5,000 to 10,000 yuan a year to keep a pet well, not counting the sudden illness of pets. Come to think of it, a year’s college tuition is so much.
However, students and friends often can’t buy pets in proper pet channels because of limited funds. However, pets sold by those illegal pet shops often suffer from various diseases as soon as they are bought back because of congenital or birth environment restrictions. The money saved by purchasing will eventually be spent on treating diseases, forming a vicious circle.
Faced with the high cost of pet treatment, students who can’t afford it either choose to abandon it or leave it to die.

Stray pets on campus
There may be danger
Abandoned pets often die because of human irresponsibility.
There are indeed warm examples in the news of stray cats and dogs. But if the background is changed to a university campus, will it really be all beautiful stories?
Probably not.
A white fox on a university campus was frightened and fled because of people’s excessive enthusiasm, and was killed by a car outside the school; A university had to order the killing of stray dogs on campus because they bit students. When the video of stray dogs being killed alive was uploaded to the Internet, netizens accused the school of being cruel.
From the school’s point of view, stray dogs are not as docile as we thought. In order to survive, they have to show their fangs and claws.
They tend to get together and live together. It is not a warm scene when several stray dogs attack the crowd on the road. If they still carry infectious diseases, who should be responsible for the consequences?
Many students think stray pets are cute because they only need to give a little food when passing by to get their fawning. No responsibility, naturally relaxed.
But when they suffer from illness and have nowhere to hide in the face of storms, will you be willing to pick them up and give them a real safe haven?

If you love, please let go.
Only when you know the pain of being responsible in life can you know the pleasure of being responsible.
Keeping a pet is just like raising a child. From the moment you decide to accept this life, you have caught this heavy responsibility. Any parents want their children to be born in a stable and perfect environment. Only in this way can we achieve happiness with each other.
Love comes from desire and belongs to responsibility. Love is sometimes forbearing and letting go. If you really love these lives so much, you should try to create a better condition for them, or give them to better people.
If you still live in the university dormitory, please let go.
They need you in the future.
